Partridge house is an inpatient addiction program for NAtive Americans located in Akwesasne. The staff includes certified alcohol and substance abuse counselors who guide each participant in the healing process through educational lectures, individual counseling, and group psychotherapy. It is a program that provides gender-specific groups and a weekly family education group open to the community. In addition, each participant is introduced to the foundation of 12-step recovery and develops new coping to prepare for life daily stressors without restoring back to active addiction and self-destructive behaviors. There is also an eight-week curriculum to address self-discovery. Open 24/7.
