CredoÕs Outpatient Chemical Dependency Services provide a full range of confidential counseling services in Jefferson County. The Farm offers a holistic rehabilitative environment for young men ages 16 to 20 with a substance abuse diagnosis. The program is individualized to meet each residentÕs diverse needs, and offers a variable length of stay of up to 12 months with the average of 6 to 8 months, depending on progress in the program and individual circumstances. Programming includes over 40 hours of treatment per week including counseling, groups and other activities.
The program is designed to help women develop skills and plans for clean and sober lifestyles, and address the impact that addiction has had on their lives that have led to damaging and/or life threatening abuse and dependence on drugs and alcohol. Serving women 16 years of age and older.
The Donald F. Pond, Sr. MenÕs Community Residence & The Aftercare Community Residence are dedicated to providing services for men in the early stages of recovery from alcohol and/or chemical dependence. Referrals are accepted for individuals seeking a sober group living situation that encourages responsibility. The program provides a family atmosphere that promotes individuality, healthy decision making and improvement of self-awareness. This is made possible through peer support, individual outpatient treatment planning, and group and individual counseling.The Community Residence programs serve adult males 16 years of age or older with variable lengths of stay, typically 6-12 months.

Through meaningful relationships, activities and a sense of community, the center does not just assist people in maintaining their recovery, it helps build a brighter future for those in need.
Partridge house is an inpatient addiction program for NAtive Americans located in Akwesasne. The staff includes certified alcohol and substance abuse counselors who guide each participant in the healing process through educational lectures, individual counseling, and group psychotherapy. It is a program that provides gender-specific groups and a weekly family education group open to the community. In addition, each participant is introduced to the foundation of 12-step recovery and develops new coping to prepare for life daily stressors without restoring back to active addiction and self-destructive behaviors. There is also an eight-week curriculum to address self-discovery. Open 24/7.
Offers services for alcohol/chemically dependent individuals and individuals who have a compulsive gambling diagnosis. Services include: Drug/Alcohol Assessments, Compulsive Gambling Assessments, Outpatient Treatment, Compulsive Gambling Treatment, Aftercare Services, Codependency Treatment, Relapse Prevention Treatment and Nicotine Dependence Treatment. The Outpatient Office is also able to make referrals to other agencies inpatient, outpatient and detox if needed. Therapies used are 12-step based counseling, cognitive behavioral and motivational interviewing. Weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Canton-Potsdam Hospital's Inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation is has 17 beds and with a medically monitored 24-hour setting. Their program includes pet therapy: patients with allergies, asthma triggered by pet dander, or phobias should probably select another program. For everyone's health, effective, July 1, 2008, CPH has become a tobacco-free facility. Depending on your individual medical needs, your structured program may include group and individual counseling; family counseling and education; trauma group therapy; occupational and recreational therapy; aftercare planning; self-help meetings; health education; smoking/tobacco quit help; gambling addiction assessment and counseling; and pet therapy. Referrals can be accepted Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admissions are scheduled Monday through Friday ideally between 8:00 a.m. and noon.
