·       North Country Regional Network of Care

°        Regional Network of Care

§  Larry Calkins mentions that will work with Rachel Milone to organize a meeting.

°        Care Coordination Grant – Bud Ziolkowski & Rachel Milone

§  Working on a new website for the Northern Tier region. Should be up and running by the next NTP meeting.

·       ASAP Update:

°        Encourage people to get involved in Monday meetings.

°         70% voted yes on the merger; the transitional board is now in place.

°        Budget should be announced in the first week of February.

§  Connie Wille suggests, when committee meets they discuss Northern Tier dues.

6.     Providers Updates:

       Credo:

°        Converting 8-19 residential programs into 8-20. Successfully converted 2 community residents for men into reintegration, and working on converting 8-19 intensive residential women and children to reintegration. No longer taking any women and children into the facility.

°        Have open beds at the adolescent facility.

°        Awarded 10 transitional housing apartments.

 

       Champlain Valley Family Center:

°        Lisa Searles-Bowman is new Prevention Coordinator.

°        Awarded Intensive Crisis Stabilization. Working with OMH and OASAS to move facility forward.

°        Integrated Operating Certificate – walk through last week, went very well.

 

       Citizens Advocates:

°        Awarded Supportive Crisis Stabilization Grant for Watertown Office.

°        Continuing construction in Watertown looking at a May opening.

°        Onboarded 2 Peers.

°        Onboarding nursing staff in the Ogdensburg location

°        Crisis management training for staff

°        Sending people to TCI training

 

       Prevention Resource Center:

°        Megan Waldrath is leaving at the end of the month. Have not found her replacement yet. There will be staff changes coming.

 

       St. Joseph’s:

°        Bob Ross has retired, new interm CEO (Zach Randolph) – Robin Gay to find out if anything is going to be done for Bob.

°        Detox has moved to inpatient program for time being as working on hiring more staff.

 

       Pivot:

°        Beginning WISE Initiative program.

 

       Grace House:

°        Starts 5th year of operation

°        Have beds available

 

       SVPC:

°        Received Health Care Worker’s Bonus in the Council account.

 

       Prevention Team:

°        Moving forward with WISE program.

°        Moving forward with Sober Active Recovery in the community.

 

7.     New Business

       Membership dues

°        Larry Calkins would like to know if different programs within agencies should pay different dues. John Wilson suggests if programs have one board for the agency, they pay the one dues.

°        Larry Calkins makes a motion, seconded by John Wilson, that if an organization has multiple parts but one board of directors oversight, they are responsible for one set of dues unless a different portion of them so chooses to contribute to Northern Tier in the form of dues.

       Rachel Milone & Chelsea Dodd discuss possible new NTP logo.

       Future Meetings: Anchor Recovery Center has offered space, St. Joe’s has offered space. If anyone else has space they would like to offer, let chairs know. Champlain Valley has offered space. Physical location to be added to calendar invite.

       Chelsea Dodd goes over options for NTP Conference for 2023, High Peaks Resort, Lake Placid. Coalition accepts High Peaks Resort as location for the 2023 Conference.

       March meeting – Bill Bowman would like to bring a presentation on the 11-15 waiver. Connie Wille suggest getting local senators to attend a meeting. Bill suggests moving March meeting up to beginning of March. Bill suggests scheduling a Zoom call February 14th. Zoom meeting scheduled for February 14th at 10:00 am.
